Ananya Panday, who will soon appear in Call Me Bae, revealed that she would not mind being left on an island with Ranveer Singh for expected reasons.Ananya Panday is actively promoting her new Prime Video series Call Me Bae. The actress recently went down for a rapid-fire round, where she exclusively revealed numerous fascinating details about her life and profession. When our presenter asked Ananya, “If you were deserted on an island, which male actor would you want to be with?” The diva was eager to name Ranveer Singh.
While Ranveer and Ananya have never worked together, the actress did appear in the former’s introduction song, Heartthrob, from Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahani. We’re not going to lie: we can’t wait to see them together onscreen soon.
Returning to Panday’s Call Me Bae, the comedy-drama show was produced by Karan Johar’s Dharmatic Entertainment. Ishita Moitra, Samina Motlekar, and Rohit Nair wrote the eight-episode series, which is directed by Colin D’Cunha.
Call Me Bae also has an ensemble cast of Vir Das, Gurfateh Pirzada, Varun Sood, Vihaan Samat, Lisa Mishra, and Mini Mathur. It will be available for streaming on Amazon Prime starting September 6.
Ananya Panday also has Vikramaditya Motwane’s CTRL in her possession. This thriller, co-produced by Nikhil Dwivedi and Arya Menon, will also include Vihaan Samat, Devika Vatsa, Kamakshi Bhat, Suchita Trivedi, Samit Gambhir, and Ravish Desai in pivotal parts. CTRL will premiere on Netflix on October 4, 2024. Panday’s next project is Shankara, the details of which are currently unknown.
