There is rising incident of rape cases in India. Now it comes to the states of Assam. Recently we have in the neighboring state of west Bengal where a intern doctor also been raped and killed whose case still now going on and doctors are protesting to get her the justice.
Police informed that when he was taken to the crime scene to understand how he has done the crime, in that time he tried to escape the police net by fleeing from the spot and then jumping into the river. Due to which the person died on the spot.
As per the police there are three accused who are involved in the gang rape of the victim. Out of these three persons, only one person has been arrested so far. Police is searching the other 2 accused. The accused will be prosecuted under the POSCO act and as per the govt strict action will be taken w.r.t the accused.
The rising rape cases in India has created a state of fears among girls. Everywhere around India protest are going on whether it is Delhi or some other place, doctors and other people are protesting for the security of the females in India.
Supreme court has ruled that there would be create a committee that will come with some rules that will help to reduce the cases of the rapes.
Regarding the Assam case, police whose custody the accused was there also got some injury in his hand for which he has been taken to hospital and treatment is going on.
