Baba Siddique Murder Case. Murder of Baba Siddique: Rohit Godara, a close aide to Lawrence Bishnoi, had previously declared that Salman Khan’s allies were their enemies. According to authorities, the two suspects detained in connection with the murder of former Maharashtra minister Baba Siddique have declared their membership in the Lawrence Bishnoi gang. Police have not confirmed this report, and the gang has not acknowledged being involved in the murder that raised security worries prior to the Maharashtra state elections.
Last night, Baba Siddique, 66, a well-known politician from the Nationalist Congress Party’s Ajit Pawar group and a former three-time MLA from Bandra West, was shot and killed in Bandra.

Near his son’s office, Mr. Siddique was shot at least six times; four of those bullets struck him in the chest. Four special teams have been established by police to look into the case since they believe it to be a contract killing.Three persons were involved in the Dussehra celebration-coinciding shooting. Three males are still at large; two, Haryana’s Gurmail Baljit Singh, 23, and Uttar Pradesh’s Dharamraj Kashyap, 19, have been taken into custody. However, police think that someone else was giving them information about where Mr. Siddique was.

According to sources, the two detained suspects stated they had been scouting the Bandra East shooting location for about a month during their questioning by the Mumbai Police Crime Branch.

According to the authorities in the criminal section, the three suspects got there in an auto rickshaw last night and waited there before the shooting started.

The police are looking at the issue from two different perspectives: one is connected to the Bishnoi gang, and the other is about a case of slum redevelopment.

Because of Mr. Siddique’s close relationship to Bollywood actor Salman Khan—who had received threats from Lawrence Bishnoi—there is suspicion that the Bishnoi gang is involved. According to people close to the victim, he was granted security cover under the “Y” category after receiving a death threat fifteen days prior.

However, the police claim that Mr. Siddique did not report receiving any threats.
