On Friday, the Poco Pad 5G was introduced in India. The tablet runs HyperOS, an Android 14-based operating system, and is powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 7s Gen 2 SoC. It has four speakers and a 12.1-inch LCD screen protected by Corning Gorilla Glass. Both Dolby Vision and Dolby Atmos compatibility are included with the tablet. It has a 10,000mAh battery that supports 33W wired rapid charging. Along with support for the Poco Smart Pen and Poco Keyboard, the IP52-rated tablet comes pre-assembled.
Poco Pad 5G Cost and Availability in India
The Poco Pad 5G starts at Rs. 23,999 for the 8GB + 128GB model and costs Rs. 25,999 for the 8GB + 256GB version in India. The tablet is available in two colors: Pistachio Green and Cobalt Blue.

The 12.1-inch 2K (2,560 x 1,600 pixel) LCD screen on the Poco Pad 5G has a 120Hz adaptive refresh rate, a 16:10 aspect ratio, and a maximum brightness level of 600 nits. The display has Corning Gorilla Glass protection and a triple certification from TÜV Rheinland.
A Snapdragon 7s Gen 2 SoC with 8GB of LPDDR4X RAM and up to 256GB of UFS 2.2 internal storage powers the tablet. A microSD card can be used to increase the storage capacity to 1.5TB. HyperOS, based on Android 14, is pre-installed.
The recently released Poco Pad 5G boasts an 8-megapixel back camera and an LED flash for optics. Another 8-megapixel sensor is included on the right side bezel of the front camera.
The Poco Pad 5G is built to withstand dust and splashes and is rated IP52 when it arrives. It has two microphones, a 3.5mm headphone connector, four speakers, and support for Dolby Atmos. Additionally, the tablet has Dolby Vision compatibility.
