More than 13 lakh workers in Uttar Pradesh face wage loss if they disobey a government directive issued by Yogi Adityanath. Government workers will not receive their salaries for this month if they do not report their moveable and immovable assets on the Manav Sampada government portal by August 31. Per the most recent directive, promotions will also be impacted by noncompliance.
Even if the deadline has already been extended numerous times, the most recent instruction serves as a warning to individuals who have not yet submitted the necessary information.
Manoj Kumar Singh, the chief secretary of Uttar Pradesh, has made it clear that only individuals who provide property details by August 31 will receive payment for the month of August; all other individuals’ salaries will be discontinued.
“Enhances transparency and accountability” is how the state government has justified the action.
“The goal of this initiative is to improve accountability and openness in the government. Under the direction of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, we have a zero tolerance policy for corruption “declared Minister Danish Azad Ansari.
All classes of officers and workers are required to divulge information about their moveable and immovable holdings.
The order issued by the Chief Secretary has been forwarded to all Additional Chief Secretaries, Principal Secretaries, Secretaries, Department Heads, and Office Heads by M Devraj, the Principal Secretary of the Personnel Department. Employees who do not provide these details would not be considered for promotions, per the directive.
